It's no secret I like to shop.

If you follow my twitter stream or my blog, you know I search high and low for sassy pieces that compliment the wardrobe staples I have spent years accumulating.  I try and stay away from places that most people shop at (ever since the 12th grade when four other girls wore the same homecoming gown as me) trying to think outside of the box, but generally end up back in my hood at my trusted stores.

Recently I was invited to check out Next at Beachwood Place (second floor next to Nordstroms).  Although I walk pass the store at least once a month I have never ventured inside because the urban feel of the store was intimidating and not at all my style.  I have, out of curiosity, always peeked.

So I was thrilled for the opportunity to discover Next for myself.

I was given a $200 gift card to shop and went a lot over that, paying out of my own pocket for items that I just could not part with.  I think that pretty much sums up everything.  I was pleasantly surprised to find a handful of clothing that was not only flattering but stylish and well constructed as well.  I desperately tried to stay on budget but at the register I was unable to say good-bye to the cropped jacket.

The women's fashion buyer for Next is currently introducing many new styles and recommended florals as they are "in" for the spring.  (See upper right hand corner of collage - my new floral top).  I had a mission for my shopping spree and that was to find some fun think-outside-the-box pieces for my sister's bachelorette party in Miami coming up.

Mission accomplished!  Thanks to Next the next time I'm at Beachwood Place I will be stepping inside to see what else is new.

Disclosure:  I was given a $200 gift card to shop for this honest review.

Looks great! I need to take a photo of the new tunic I bought the other day. The one I went shopping for specifically because of your post. You've got great taste.

I love this store. The owner used to own a store in Chagrin Falls that was total prep! Chagrin Valley Department store..where Geigers is now and where GAP was once upon a time. I would go into the Shaker Sq NEXT when I worked at GAP to see the trendy urban stuff. Now it is even better.
Lucky You for the gift card:-D

Looks like a great time. I should get out to Beachwood Place sometime, I don't think I have ever been there. Altho it is on the eastside, and I don't get out there too much.
